How To Gracefully Refuse A Money Gift

What is the ecological footprint?

The ecological footprint is a key indicator for measuring sustainability showing the area of \u200b\u200becologically productive land (crops, pastures, forests aquatic ecosystems) needed to, first, to produce the resources used, and secondly, to assimilate the waste produced by a given population with a specific lifestyle.
Its aim principal is to assess the impact on the planet in a particular lifestyle and compare it with the world biocapacity. The main limitation of this indicator is the complexity of their calculation can be done by estimating the resources that a person consumes and waste it produces. Their results are based on the observation:
  • acreage used to develop, produce infrastr ucturas and workplaces.
  • proprcionar hectares needed for the necessary plant food.
  • surface
  • need to grass to feed livestock.
  • marine area required to produce the fish
  • hectares of forest needed to take the CO2 that causes our energy consumption.
There are several pages on the Internet where you can calculate the carbon footprint you produce and where you explain how to perform this calculation, some of them are: ecofoot.org, myfootprint
Today, humanity uses the equivalent of 1.4 planets each year, this means that now you need to land one year and five months to regenerate what we use in one year.
